The First Post
My first post. I’ve wanted to put together a blog for Web, electronic communications, and strategy for a long time. I’ve started a couple times, but I’ve only gotten as far working out the code and functionality. With that said, big-ups to WordPress for creating such an awesome tool for blogging and Web publishing. I was able to cruise through the set up very quickly, and get to the important part, writing…
The functionality is pretty basic now, as I want to focus on content – content is king… the other stuff will come… if it’s necessary. In fact, it’s this last statement that spins me off in a new direction – Just because you can do it, doesn’t mean you should. That’s been the opposing question that I’ve been hit back with each and every time I’ve considered putting together a blog of this kind. The difference is readiness. I’m ready to do this now, kind of like when you know you’re ready to get married, or lose weight, or quit smoking… You just have a moment of clarity that say’s ‘let’s do this.’
So there it is… let’s do this!
